Engage adult learners with STEM related topics, linked to everyday life
Project Description
We design and deliver one day workshops to a wide variety of learners from a wide variety of organisations. The workshops are learner-centred so the content will be designed to meet the needs/interest of those attending. Working in partnership with Glasgow Science Centre allows us to incorporate related resources/activities on offer at GSC as part of the workshop. Example themes we have used for these engagements courses include Energy, Where food come from, Maps and Weather. We use the resource COGS as a basis for most of these courses. These engagement courses allow us to highlight aspects of STEM related learning and encourage learners to explore further learning opportunities.
