To make available stimulating and enjoyable adult learning opportunities to people from across Fife

A range of programmes and courses are available at venues across Fife. Many of the courses run several times per
year and benefit from having hugely experienced and committed tutors. Courses and subjects include:

▪ Exploring Scottish Literature
Fun, friendly and informative course exploring and celebrating the vast treasures to be found within the many
centuries of Scottish Literature.

▪ Creative Writing
Ever wanted to write a story but didn’t know where to start? Didn’t think you could do it because of your spelling or
writing skills? Then this workshop is for you! You don’t need to be great at spelling or writing to be a great storyteller.

▪ Local History Group (Methil)
A weekly workshop exploring the social history of Methil through conversations about …
· People’s lives
· Changes in work and social life
· Leisure pastimes like dancing.
How will WE make history?

▪ Political Literacies – Engaging our Communities
The workshops/sessions will focus on the thoughts and ideas contributed by the group with a view to supporting you
to influence positive change in your communities and beyond. Previous courses have included workshops around
Human Rights, Social Justice, Community Leadership and Empowerment.
